It was always a tradition in my house growing up to make Danish Ebleskivers on Sunday morning of General Conference (So the first weekend of every April and October). In case you don't know what Ebleskivers are, they are basically like a pancake or waffle ball (that's how my husband explains them anyway). We have a special pan that cooks them and they are very tasty. You cut them open and put either syrup, powdered sugar, peanut butter, jam... really whatever you can think up (and my brother Tim has come up with some interesting concoctions over the years!). Instead of going over to my parents house, this year I decided I would make them and home so we could have a relaxing day at home with our little family. It was a rainy, gloomy day outside, but we had a good time together and enjoyed our yummy breakfast. Conference was great to watch and as always, gave us some wonderful counsel and suggestions for ways to be better individuals and families!
